Kidz Biz Preparatory & Early Childhood Center is a NAEYC Accredited year-round school currently located in Hazelwood. Kidz Biz Prep is a Mother and Daughter owned and operated center. Both mother and daughter and the rest of the KBP Team are passionate about teaching, nurturing young minds and the development of the whole child inside and out!

Our Story

​In 2001 Sandra Moore retired from the St. Louis Public School System as a kindergarten teacher. She started Kidz Biz Home Daycare in her home in University City. In 2002 The home daycare expanded to Kidz Biz Learning Center also located in University City.

In 2017 Kidz Biz Learning Center evolved to KIDZ BIZ PREPARATORY & EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER!

The Owners:

Sandra Moore - B.A. in Elementary Education- Harris-Stowe Teachers College and M.A. in Education with and emphasis in Early Childhood Education- Webster University

Sandra is a retired Kindergarten Teacher from the St. Louis Public Schools. She retired in 2001 after teaching kindergarten for 30 years. After 1 year of retirement Sandra realized how much she missed teaching and she opened Kidz Biz Home Daycare in 2002. Sandra still enjoys working with children. She also enjoys traveling, event planning, and spending time with her 3 granddaughters.

​Monica Moore  - B.A. Early Childhood Education - Harris Stowe State University
Monica taught Kindergarten for Normandy School District for 5 years and Pre-Kindergarten for University City School District for 5 years. After teaching Kindergarten she was alarmed with how many students entered Kindergarten unprepared. This motivated Monica to resign from her job and join forces with her mother to open Kidz Biz Learning Center in 2007. She still enjoys teaching, traveling and spending time with her husband and 3 daughters.
